For surface sizing and internal sizing

Surface sizing agents are used for the specific hydrophobicity of graphic printing, writing and copying papers, but also for the production of packaging papers and cardboard. They enhance pick resistance, decrease dusting, and improve printability.

Apart from hydrophobicity, internal sizing agents mainly lead to an increased stability of the produced papers. In the production of newspaper printing papers they reduce dusting and minimize hygroexpansivity, which increases the offset printability.

At present, BK Giulini offers the widest range of polymer sizing agents for practically all applications in the surface sizing sector,. The product portfolio covers anionic solutions or dispersions, as well as amphoteric products and cationic solutions and dispersions.

In addition, our product range includes also special internal sizing agents for the production of testliner, label and poster papers as well as newsprint papers.
